ART

Ms.Carruyo is based in the Finger Lakes of NY where she makes visual art, music, and treehouses. She works with salvaged, heat treated pallets to create one of a kind, encaustic and mixed media pieces.

Ms. Carruyo layers original photographs, beeswax, damar resin, found retroreflective glass and fuses them together with the heat of the flame on a birch ply substrate.

Uniit spends her days in her happy place, a tiny off grid treehouse art studio overlooking the valleys of the finger lakes, the honeypine trees, and the sweetest pond you've ever seen.
